According to IFR, JD logistics is already preparing for a 2021 IPO valued at about $40 billion.

Citing people familiar with the matter, IFR reported that JD.com has begun preparations for an overseas listing of JD Logistics next year in a deal that could value the business at around $40 billion.

The company is understood to have begun discussions with potential advisers about the deal. A deal could involve the sale of a 10-20 per cent stake for $4bn - $8bn, with A listing in Hong Kong or the US being considered, one of the people told IFR.
